Welcome to the Physical Science website! Check the links to the right for the class schedule and posting of the notes from class. Also check any of the extra links that may appear below for more information on what we are currently covering in class.

Electric Field Hockey - This applet from the University of Colorado allows you to place both positive and negative charged particles to effect the path of hockey puck to the goal. Click on the "Run Now" button to access.

Balloons & Static Electricity Demo - This applet from the University of Colorado shows how static electricity can be accumulated on a balloon and how that balloon would interact with its surroundings. Click on the "Run Now" button to access.

Electrophorus Plate & Leyden Jar - This website gives a more in-depth description of how we created static electricity and then transferred it to our Leyden Jars during our "How Much Static Electricity Can You Generate" lab.

Virtual Electric Circuits Applet - This applet from the University of Colorado allows you to build simple electric circuits and make measurements from them. Note: This is NOT the program for our 2 virtual labs in this unit.

Electromagnets & Generators Applet - This applet from the University of Colorado allows you experiment with a virtual generator to see how magnetism and electricity are linked to one another. Click on the "Run Now" button to access.
