American Century ...is the third-year component of the DeLaSalle Social Studies curriculum: a required course for all juniors. The focus of the class is United States and world history from the Great War to the present; and, the successful completion of a History Day project.
Advanced Placement US History ...may be taken in lieu of the American Century class. This course examines the broad scope of US history from pre-Columbian through the late 20th century. Students may earn college credit upon taking
the AP exam on May 9, 2008


History Day ...allows students to become historians. DeLaSalle's History Day is February 19, 2008. This year's theme: Conflict and Compromise in History.

Quiz Bowl and Knowledge Bowl...are academic competitions. Practice begins in October, and matches run through February

Political Discussion Group ... is a forum for student discussion.
