| | Volunteer Opportunities |  | To assist us in making our travel opportunities affordable for all we are looking for benefactors who will donate their time, treasure or talent. A number of people have donated money to our travel assistance program, whereby students develop travel proposals in a competition for available funds. Awards are determined on creativity, depth of information and analysis and the quality of the presentation. There are many other of ways to help, including:
- Accounting expertise: Minnesota state tax breaks are available for student travel. A knowledgeable person could help students and their families with this matter.
- Grant Writers: a number of institutions and foundations sponsor travel programs. A grant writer would assist in identifying and contacting these foundations.
