Course Description:
This course is designed to help a student acknowledge and embrace rights and responsibilities each has to the global world as a Christian—living with others.  

Each student will:
* explore the social justice principles
* explore how to advocate for the marginalized
* understand the value of ethics in the work place, civic community, national and global governments
* gain an appreciation for others with different religious traditions as it relates to bringing about living peacefully together.

Course Objectives:

Christian principles of social justice as they relate to the global world.

2. Students will derive that living the Gospel message dignifies the sacredness of life.

3. Students will differentiate between justice and charity.  Students will learn how to use their gifts to advocate for the common good.

4. Students will deduce that the outcome of their discipleship results in salvation and brings about the reign of God.

5. Students will distinguish opportunities to live as moral and ethical individuals in the communities, organizations, or institutions in which they are involved.
