This course is recommended for 12th graders who, in college, will be
majoring in a technical discipline (for example: math, science, or
engineering). Honors Physics is a heavily math-dependent subject that
studies the physical world. Students will study topics including motion
in one and two dimensions, force, friction and Newton's laws, work and
energy, momentum and collisions, rotational motion, vibrations and
waves, sound, light and reflection, and atomic physics.
