Physics... topics include motion in one and two dimensions,
force, friction and Newton's laws, work and energy, momentum and collisions,
vibrations and waves, sound, light and reflection.
Honors Physics... topics include motion in one and two dimensions, force, friction and Newton's laws,
work and energy, momentum and collisions, rotational motion, vibrations and
waves, sound, light and reflection, and atomic physics.
Geometry... topics include geometric figures, properties of parallel and perpendicular lines, transformations of the plane, the Pythagorean Theorem, and formulae for the area and volume of figures. Students will write informal and formal proofs.
